An endless plane of water extending from the backyard deck across the Long Island Sound is the image created by this spectacular pool. Two of the four sides of the pool flow smoothly over the edges of perfectly laid, natural bluestone. The water is recollected in two fashions. At the deep end of the pool the water spills over as a waterfall which trickles down the stone-veneered wall into the custom-grated catch basin covered in Mexican Beach Pebbles. The longer side of the pool, and small portions at the corners of the deep end wall, have a custom drainage system set between two pieces of angled bluestone coping. In order to raise this pool up from the existing grade to meet the height of backyard deck it was necessary to install a system of strategically placed piles and grade beams.

The pool is specially designed and installed with a Grando rigid slatted pool safety cover which is hidden beneath the deck when not in use.
